"I have been visiting and fishing in Chile, especially Patagonia, for years. I confess that with each season my admiration and affection for the region grows, whether for its exuberant nature, environmental preservation, or the excellent service, warmth, kindness, and delicate decor that can be appreciated in every corner of Kawi”
Betinho Oliveira, Fishing and travel agent, Brasil

"Trout fishing in Chilean Patagonia is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that must be experienced to be believed.
I stayed at the comfortable and intimate Kawi, I had a spacious private room with a private bath. I was treated like family and felt like I belonged from the moment I stepped inside.
My gracious and knowledgeable guide, Victor, was an excellent teacher and patient with a novice like me. He took me to a wonderful working ranch, Estancia Río Penitente, founded by Scottish immigrants, with a beautiful river running through it. An opulent 19th-century Victorian-style ranch house completed the setting. I was transported back to a simpler time.
Under Victor’s tutelage, I caught two good-sized brown trout on the first day, and I immediately resolved to return. I can’t recommend it enough, and I know you won’t regret it.

Our programs are designed to suit all needs and levels, whether you're an experienced angler, a beginner, or looking to introduce yourself and your children to the world of fishing or experience Patagonia with a variety of activities.
We're trained to teach casting techniques for any situation, especially in windy conditions, as our region is known for its strong winds and bad weather. But don't worry, we'll guide you every step of the way so you can make the most of every day.
Also, with our programs, you'll get to know Patagonia like no one else. We've partnered with various estancias and agencies so you can experience local traditions and enjoy a wide variety of activities.
Please note that Patagonia is unpredictable, so you should be prepared at all times. We recommend always having a windbreaker or waterproof jacket, sunglasses, sunscreen, and other items on hand.

"I came on a group trip with no intention of learning to fish, but I was motivated by the group and the guides, who did an amazing job teaching me and passing their passion for fly fishing. Now I own my own gear and go fishing every chance I get. Thank you so much."
